You should have scored good marks in JEE MAIN. Or you should have a good percentage in the 12th exam in science maths stream. Then by filling reap form and filling all the required details, you have to visit the college for counselling if it gets alloted. Priority is given to JEE MAIN marks over 12th percentage. You should have at least scored 50% in 12th exam. There are different cut-off marks for different branches. Best branches in this college are agriculture and mining. To get these branches you should at least have a score greater than 70 marks in JEE Main for general and 40 above for ST and SC. And it's easier to get computer science and electronics and communication branch here.

  • The eligibility criteria for admission in this college is as per the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam.
  • Earlier admission to this college used to be via Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test i.e. RPET and only students who took RPET were open to admissions according to rankings but now admission are through IIT JEE MAIN general ranking and it is open to any student of India who has cleared the exam.
  • The typical Cutoff stretch up to different parameters depending upon the category of student, the course applied, girl candidate etc. But if you have a decent rank up to 30000 you have great chances of getting a seat.
  • There is a provision of first counselling, second counselling or upper shift and also a third on the spot counselling in which candidate have to appear himself and apply for the course.
  • Then according to all the candidates who applied on that day, a number is allocated to you and if seats are available then you get the seat if you choose to.

  • College Of Technology And Engineering counts among the few Prestigious Government colleges apart from IIT's and NIT's. This College was Recently awarded AIR-83 in a list of technical  institutes prepared by UGC, second only to MNIT, Jaipur in Rajasthan. Apart from that college recently got accredited from NBA.  I got my Admission through now non-existent RPET
  • CTAE usually has a high cut-off for branches like CS and MECH., and state rank cut-off went to about 2K for CS and Mech. The new cut-off state ranks calculated through JEE-Mains also end up pretty close to same Number.
