Infrastructure

Aesthetically designed with all ultra modern facilities admeasuring an area of 8193.47 sq. ft. it is exclusively provided with all ultramodern facilities to cater to the needs of the knowledge seekers of the Dental College Library, with the objective of providing an academic ambience of excellence.

The Library & Information Centre is divided into various sections. It has a Personal Reading Room where students can read their own books. The whole Library has a seating capacity of about 264 which is very well ventilated and has power supply all the time.

The Library with its different components e.g. Periodical Section, Current Journals Section, Circulation Section, Stack Section, Reprography Section, Multimedia, Internet, A/V Section, Reading Hall for Faculty, U.G. and P.G. Sections, caters to the varied user needs. Internet Section & Personal Reading Room is fully Air conditioned.

The under-graduate section is separated from the post-graduate section respecting their separate needs for space and concentration. The Library has a Audio-Visual Room which is stacked with 43" Projection T.V. connected to Computer along with T.V. toner card A/V Cassettes, which are very instrumental for the overall growth of student. Every Department can utilize the A/V facility. Besides these, there is a common room for acquisition, classification, catalogue and lamination purpose.

Library

The College Library & Information Centre (L. & I. C.) is rapidly developing to be one of the most sought out professional education & research referral library. It started its service in the year 1991. All bibliographic details of Books, Journals and CD-ROM Databases are accessible through the campus wide network. The Library & Information Centre has vast number of printed documents, and it subscribes to more than 69 National and International Journals. It has established contacts with other organizations for exchange of the Institute's publications and Inter-Library Loan arrangement.

Hostel

Separate hostels for boys and girls (1106 Boys & 344 Girls) are located near the college campus. The rooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Round the clock security, standby generator facility, gymnasium, health club, Indoor games, communication and entertainment facility are some of the noteworthy features that aim to make students stay as comfortable as could be. Students manage the mess facility independently. Exclusive transport facility from the hostel to college campus allows girls to use library till late hours.

Recently a separate NRI hostel is started for both boys and girls
