Bwda Arts and Science College Scholarship Details

In addition to nominal fees, BWDA offers various scholarships to eligible students. The scholarships are fully based on merit. Some of the scholarships and aids available to our students include:

• SHG Concession
  The meritorious children of SHG members, who have scored at least 70% marks are given 10% concession on college fee and 15% concession on hostel fee. Many of our students receive this concession as they hail from family of SHG members.
• BWDA & BFL Staff concession
  The meritorious children of BWDA and BFL staff members, who have scored at least 70% marks are given 10% concession on college fee and 15% concession on hostel fee.
• Mid day Meal Scheme
  Majority of students are very poor and are unable to bring lunch. Most of parents are landless agricultural labourers, coolies and daily wage earners and are unable to support their children. To address this, we have arranged for ‘Mid day Meal’ by collecting Rs.10/- per head per day. Through this scheme, 250-300 students are benefited.
