Berhampore College formerly known as Raja Krishnath College of Commerce was established in Aug 2nd 1963. The college then offered only Commerce courses and in 1971 Arts courses were introduced with the approval from Universit of Calcutta. The college was then renamed to Berhampore College in 1975. The college is now affiliated to University of Kalyani offering courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The Berhampore College follows strict disciplinary methods and charges will be taken against those students who violate it. Berhampore College have extracurricular activities like National Cadet Corps [NCC], National Service Scheme [NSS] and Bratachari.

To get admission into the two years post graduate degree course of M.A., the candidate must have passed his/her Higher Senior Secondary examination (10+2) with any set of subject, from a recognized education board along with the undergraduate degree from a recognized university. • You will receive an SMS from the College with your Application Number. Keep it for future reference. You might receive the SMS after slight delay depending on the network
• Click on FILL UP APPLICATION FORM
• Fill up the appropriate fields of the Application Form and choose programs of your choice. You can apply for a maximum of 3 course.
• After that click SAVE and UPLOAD your recent passport size photograph [max. 100 KB].
• Click the Preview button and make sure that the information supplied by you is correct.
• Click on ‘Make Payment’. use only Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card etc.). Payment Instruction are given on that form
• Click on Download Application Form and Print

Admission Procedure Guideline

• The admission to Berhampore College could be done online on the official website of the college.
• Applicant should apply within the scheduled date (See the Admission Schedule). Once date has crossed no application will be entertained under any circumstances.
• Payment once made will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• College Authority will not be responsible for failure of Online transaction through Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card or etc.
• Corrections, if needed, can be made in the Provisional Merit List within the scheduled date & Time, but can under no circumstances be made thereafter.
• Candidate has to produce the original copies of all the documents. Any discrepancy in the documents will see the candidature being summarily cancelled.
• Even after admission if any discrepancy/malpractice is found, the candidature/admission will stand cancelled.
