Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) was instituted by Punjab Government in 1998. The university helps society by the provision of need-based education & training programs for health professionals. University provides a great atmosphere for students to perform better in academics. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Campus Facilities

The university has a great infrastructure and the following are some of the facilities provided to the students on the campus:

Library: The library is a well-furnished space and it has a versatile amount of books. University provides HSLIBNET which is the resource sharing consortium for learning materials such as E-journals, union catalogues, a digital library of health sciences. University also has ProQuest Database, EBSCO eBooks, journals for the convenience of the students.

Classrooms: The university provides ventilated, organized and spacious. The classrooms have a sufficient number of benches to accommodate all the students in a class.

Canteen: Fresh hygienic food is provided in the canteen. The price of food is very reasonable. There is a lot of variety of food available.

Hostel: The university provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. A student from a distant place is given more preference on a first come first serve basis. The hostel is well furnished for students to accommodate more than 500 students.
