Moving on with the times, Baba Farid College has recognized the vital need of utilizing advancement in technology for betterment of educational inputs. It is the first institute in Punjab to equip the class-rooms with Digital Smart Boards. College has Multi media Rooms to make teaching effective and more & more emphasis is laid on providing Audio-Visual Stimuli to enhance learning.

LIBRARY

The Libraries are the backbone of any civilized Society and the heart of any academic institution. The elegant centrally air conditioned library is based on modern design and consists of the reading hall, a periodical section and reference section with ample space. It is well stocked and houses numerous books pertaining to the course curriculum, as well as books related to certain general interest areas. It subscribes to a number of newspapers, magazines, and journals of national & International repute in varied areas of knowledge. It also provides internet facility the college always makes efforts to upgrade regularly and add to the present stock.

HOSTEL

The college has separate air cooled hostels for boys and girls which provide all amenities with fully furnished rooms with attached bathrooms and independent balconies, common room well equipped with ultra modern facilities, hygienic mess, uninterrupted electricity supply, 24 hrs. Wi-Fi Internet connectivity, gymnasium are some of the facilities available to the students. Newspapers, magazines, T.V, Music system, are available for the recreation of the boarders. Medical facility, adequate security arrangement is ensured for the safety of the students.

CAFETERIA

The college has tastefully constructed, well maintained cafeteria with the most comfortable seating arrangement. The best quality, hygienic food, snacks, juice, soft drinks are made available to the staff and students which is regularly supervised by the members of the staff. The eatables are provided at subsidized rates.

TRANSPORT

Keeping in view our aim of providing quality education to the students belonging to far and near areas, the college has a well planned network of buses that provides transport facility to and from all the neighbouring cities and villages.
