Asian Institute of Design, [AID] Bangalore was formed in 2007 as a dedicated game development coaching institute. It serves as a cutting edge platform for students who are focused on Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) industry.

The curriculum includes subjects like Game Art, Animation, Game Programming, Game Development, and Design through its structured courses. Over 1000 students have passed out from this institution and are serving in leading companies around the globe. The mentors and faculties are experienced in this field.

The alumni of AID work under major game development companies like Technicolor, Dreamworks, Dhruva Interactive, Sumo Digital, MPC, Rockstar Games, and many more. The college is affiliated to Bengaluru North University. Students are kept in the loop with the latest technologies.

It is the first institute totally dedicate to the AVGS platform and gets recruiters from around the globe The college was initially named as Asian Institute of Game & Animation.
