Arya College of Engineering and IT has had a stellar placement track record over the last few years. The Arya College placement cell is responsible for organizing the training, internship, and campus placement drives for the students. 

According to the Arya College of Engineering and IT Placement Report (2023-24), around 103 companies visited the campus to recruit B.Tech and MBA students. Over 598 job offers were awarded to the deserving students. Almost every student was placed with a minimum salary package of INR 3.46 Lakhs per annum.

Arya College of Engineering and IT students were also placed at the international level. The maximum salary package awarded at the international level to the brilliant candidates who performed well in job interviews was recorded as INR 45 Lakhs per annum.

Arya College of Engineering and IT Placement Cell

The Arya College placement cell is responsible for training the students and grooming them for their summer internships and campus placements. It acts as a bond between students and companies. The Arya College placement team has 30 members to coordinate with the corporate company officials for the campus recruitment drive with genuine hospitality and dedication.

Before the final placement, the members of the placement cell have one-to-one interaction or career counseling with the students. During the counseling, the overall data and reports of the students are analyzed, along with the weakness and strengths of the students.

A part of the placement cell, the Student Development cell, gives optimal exposure to the latest knowledge, prevailing trends, and adequate life skills to equip the students to be industry-ready and perform well in their careers. The key highlights of the Arya College placement and development cell are as follows:

• Enhances the overall skills, personality, and communicational development of students under the expert guidance of a team of highly qualified trainers.
• Organizes guest lectures, workshops, and seminars from time to time to keep the students updated on the industry and career trends.
• Promotes activities like Mock Group Discussions, Presentations, Interviews and aptitude Tests to provide real-time experience to make the students ready for the placement.

Arya College of Engineering and IT Placement Process

The management of the Placement process by Arya College takes place in several stages. The stages are:

1. Pre-Placement Talks – The pre-placement talks (PPT) are the crucial stage of the placement. The PPT was conducted in an Air air-conditioned auditorium equipped with the latest Audio-Visual Electronic Devices. The auditorium is facilitated with a capacity of around 700 people.
2. Written/Online Exam (Aptitude Test) – Arya College of Engineering & IT conducts Aptitude tests to determine the ability of the students in a particular field. The college has 2000 notes i.e. the college can conduct online exams for 2000 students in a single sitting. This exam is helpful for the students to know their field of knowledge.
3. Group Discussions (GD) – Arya College has three group discussion rooms. These rooms were used for group discussion during the placement process. The group discussion will help the students to build confidence.
4. Personal Interviews (PI) – Arya College has a number of well-equipped rooms for the final stage of the placement i.e. Personal Interview (PI). The PI decides the placement of the student.

Arya College of Engineering and IT Internships

Students have to intern at an organization of their choice in summer breaks after their even semesters, during their course of study at Arya College, as a part of their academic curriculum. Students have grabbed internship opportunities from tech giants like Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Samsung, TCS, Byjus, etc. as well as local companies and start-ups.

Students also take up virtual internships and are free to find opportunities in roles of their choice. Students have to work on a project during their time of internship, which is usually for 6 to 8 weeks, and submit a project report after the successful completion of their practical training.
