Placements & Internships : Summer Internships happen for a period of 2 months before the start of the second year.  It happens in the month of April and May. Students get placement offers from the companies that come to college through the placement cell also the students have the liberty to find the company of their own but prior to that, they have to inform the placement cell and the respective internship guides where they are looking to seek the internship from.  Key companies that students got an internship from were Tata Elxsi, Genpact, Canvera, Antal International and many more. Now coming down to placements, Amrita School Of Business starts its placements process early in the second year, most of the placements for all the campus happen at the Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham, Coimbatore. Amrita proudly provides 100% placements and trains its students for the various rounds that a student has to go through to get the company. Key companies that students of Amrita get into is Delloit, Ernst & Young, Amazon, Zoho, SPAR, Bajaj Allianz, Genpact, Caterpillar, Philips, Bridgei2i, Aditya Birla Group, A.O. Smith, TCS and many more. Last year approximately 100+ companies visited the university campus for the placements. On average, students bagged in offers close to 6 lakhs p.a. The highest package comes close to 12-14 lakhs CTC p.a. 

Academics & Faculty : Amrita School Of Business has a trimester program. The sessions begin at 8:45 in the morning and can extend up to 6:30 pm in the evening. This obviously includes breaks. One thing you can be assured of is the high quality of education that is provided here. The faculties of various domains such as Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Human Resource Management, Operations are very experienced and teach as per the current trends and demands of the industry. There is a very high focus on Analytics and students are offered subjects related to analytics in each of the domains. The students are trained to be professionals, they are made to present using through ppts on a daily basis. As I mentioned the emphasis of analytics in every department, students are made to learn tools such as R, Rattle R and Spss in their courses.  Also, there runs a colloquium program every week where guest lecturers and experienced people from the industry visit the college to share their experiences with the students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Same goes with the mess for food. The PG students have separate hostels. For the students who do not have their houses within the 30km vicinity, it is mandatory for them to stay in the hostel due to educational reasons. The fee for hostel and mess is included in the college fees. Wifi facility is provided to the students both in college and hostel. The rooms in the hostel are twin sharing and each floor has students of their year and course. The infrastructure throughout the college is good, classrooms are equipped with projectors and speakers to make it presentation friendly. The Labs are well maintained and the library is big and very well organized with internet facility and printing and Xerox facilities. 

Clubs & Associations : The college has all kinds of extra curricular activities and there are seperate clubs for each of them. Onam is one of the main festivals that college celebrates. Generally life in college is good.
