CAMPUS

Modernity, aesthetics and simplicity characterize the 02 acre green campus which is located in the prime area close to Pune Railway station. It create an ambience that motivates students for a well-rounded development, the campus is aesthetically designed and elegantly built with state-of-the art equipment and facilities. A beautiful large green central lawn, contribute immensely to providing a stimulating learning environment in the campus.

The Institute was set up with the objective to serve the industry and academia through creation, development and dissemination of knowledge and its applications through education, training, research and consultancy,

AISSMS Institute of Management (IOM) imparts professional education in the fields of Management. The Institute has been working for the attainment of a mission: to develop highly skilled and professional human resource for industry and business. From a very modest start, it has now acquired a commendable position as one of the premier institutes of thestate. Our Management Program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

Management Program is aimed at providing the skills required to compete in the global market and enables students to analyze and apply principles and skills of economics, finance, marketing and management in the context and environment of international business. It provides exposure to issues and current developments in the industry by providing interactions with the industry professional to prepare the students to adapt to the fast changing corporate world.

IOM is a place of learning for knowledge-driven learners. It has been built with an aim to impart education that surpasses the benchmarks of excellence. To achieve the motto it has a comprehensive pedagogical structure which provides paramount academic skills, curriculum with the ever-evolving dynamics of global business environment, esteemed faculty members with their vast experience and expertise and world class facilities.

IOM proves to be an ideal place academic pursuits and intellectual fulfillment. The Institute has 24×7 power back up and round the clock security arrangements, besides it is guarded by CCTV cameras.

Besides the handy first aid medical facility, the institute also offers National Insurance Policy protection under a limited accidental insurance covered by National Insurance Company Ltd (A Government of India Undertaking)

IOM Campus, is well-planned and spacious. The classrooms, the seminar, and the conference halls facilitate long hours of teaching and interactive participation. CLASSROOMS

Our conducive classroom atmosphere has been a significant factor in creating harmony in the teacher-student relationship. It has been designed to propel an inquiry-based learning that fosters liberation of mind, thereby creating an eagerness to learn. The simple classroom teaching is aided with many modern facilities - hi-tech multimedia and audio visual equipment which set the tone for students to engage in stimulating discussions. All classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art visual aids.

CONFERENCE ROOM

Fully equipped with a Hi- Tech Deck and a round table seating arrangement. The conference hall and auditorium are an extension of our complete and holistic classroom atmosphere. These have an excellent acoustics and sufficiently large seating capacity which complements our well-planned management learning environment uniformly.

COMPUTER CENTER

Operating round the clock, hosts 185 computers loaded with the latest software’s, SPSS for statistical analysis , a wide network with access to Internet and other facilities the Institute facilitates an effective mode of learning. The network links the computing resources in the faculty offices, student labs and administrative units. Internet bandwidth of 4 Mbps and 1.5 MBPS is to provide internet facilities to the Institution.

Computing infrastructure offers a heterogeneous range of hardware and software platforms for the student to appreciate and gain wide-ranging experience. The desktop environment is dominated by world class workstations. Firewall is used at gateway which also does the bandwidth monitoring and spam control.

IOM provides a fully functional Computer Laboratory to its students, complete with all the necessary tools required to make themselves adapt with the fundamentals.

LIBRARY

Paradise for the students, It is a pool of encyclopedia with well-stocked national and international magazines, periodicals, journals, and research papers in the hub that sustains, stimulates, generates, and rejuvenates the grey cells. IOM Library has come a long way from being a traditional library with manual transactions to an e-library. The library has all the relevant information available at a click for the emerging global managers, who go through the grind to equip themselves with right skills and expertise to achieve world class standards in various functional areas of management. As a matter of policy, the Institute pays special attention in not only strengthening the library with additional books and journals, but also ensures that they are utilized properly by the students both for their courses as well as to extend the frontiers of their general knowledge. Audio and multimedia versions of some course modules are also available.

All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Management’s Library is a valuable resource for students and faculties of business management. The library started functioning in the year 2002 and has built good collection of 8602 books, current subscription to Journals (print –30 & online databases -2), newspapers and magazines, and other resources like student's project reports and CD

The library is computerized and has SLIM (System for Library Information Management) Software for carrying out day to day activities in the library.

The library, with a spacious reading hall, also has the digital library facility where students can access the subscribed on-line e-journals databases such as EBSCO and j-gate

SPORTS FACILITY

IOM encourages not only out door but also indoor games. It boasts of a large play-ground and ample opportunities for cricket, basket-ball, and football games. Our college team has always been making us proud in the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

GIRLS HOSTEL

IOM provides hostel facility subject to vacancy, to its outstation candidates. The aim of our Hostel is to make it a Home away from Home. The Hostel has the ambience with the main focus on studies and to bring out latent qualities of the students by promoting cultural activities and interpersonal development.

Apart from the infrastructural soundness, the hostel provides sufficient scope for interaction and relationship-building. It provides a congenial atmosphere and gives the new students full scope to know their seniors, learn from them, leverage their knowledge and build lasting relations with them.

The allotment of the hostel accommodation is provisional subject to the satisfactory academic performance and discipline of the student. The hostel has limited double-occupancy rooms. The allocation of rooms is done on the basis of seniority and academic performance of the students. Hostel facilities include boarding, lodging and mess services.

CANTEEN

The common cafeteria in the campus a modern gourmet café, offers variety of snacks and meals to cater to the tastes of the students. The canteen not only provides a vibrant atmosphere and unleaded fuel for the day but also an effective way to develop the "Cafeteria approach", learning in an informal manner. It helps in nurturing interpersonal skills among students.
