Steps to apply for AIIMS Dehradun 2021

Step 1: Check the official website of AIIMS Dehradun online registration

Step 2: The application form is only available online.

Step 3: Fill out the necessary personal and educational information.

Step 4: Before submitting, attach a scanned copy of all necessary documents.

Step 5: Including both UG and PG programs, the application fee is INR 1500 for applicants and INR 1200 for reserved category aspirants.

Step 6: For the Doctorate program, the application fee for internal applicants will be INR 5000, and the fee for potential applicants will be INR 1000.

Foreign National Applicants: 

  • Foreign National Applicants and OCI will be given 5% of the available seats.
  • Foreign nationals must submit their Registration Slip of Online Application via the diplomatic channel.
  • They must also compete in a Competitive Entrance Examination alongside other applicants.
  • Foreign national applicants, on the other hand, are excluded from taking the entrance test for MSc Program.

AIIMS Dehradun Counselling 2021

Admissions counselling will take place in person at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dehradun.

During the 1st  and 2nd rounds of counselling:

  • The number of applicants in each group will be up to eight times the total number of seats. 
  • General, ST,  SC, and then OBC will be the sequence for counselling for interested applicants.
  • Counselling will be conducted solely based on a combined merit list, beginning with 1st   Rank.

In the last round of counselling:

  • All applicants with 50th percentile marks are eligible.
  • If any ST seat remains vacant during open counselling, it will be made available to an SC category nominee, and vice versa. If any SC / ST seat remains vacant afterwards, it will be made available to a qualified General Category applicant.

Spot Counselling: 

  • Whenever seats remain unfilled after open counselling, they will be filled through spot counselling at AIIMS Dehradun, with details provided in the newspaper and displayed on the AIIMS Dehradun web page.
  • If necessary, the date will be announced shortly.
  • Applicants will not be permitted to participate in open counselling unless they present a print of the registration Slip given for open counselling just at the time of online registration.

At the time of original document authentication, applicants must carry the original documents as well as one collection of self-attested copies.

There will be no TA/DA charged for participating in the Entrance Examination, Interview, or Counselling.

If found to be medically eligible, will enrol in the course after paying the required fee.

Applicants must carry all applicable records/certificates, in initial, when reporting for admission. These initial records will be retained by the institute until his or her program is completed.
