All India Institute of Management Studies eligibility criteria for the course states that the candidates must have completed minimum 16 years of age on the date of admission and there is no upper age limit. A pass in SSC/ SSLC/ HSC/ Matriculation or Equivalent, Graduates/ Post Graduates/ Diploma Holders/ Engineering Graduates are eligible. There is an open education system for the Diploma course so a candidate who does not have any educational qualification can also join the diploma courses under the open education system. But the candidates must be 21 years of age at the time of joining the course and have little knowledge of writing and reading English or Hindi for admission to the course.
