AKS University is a private university which was established in 2011. It is located in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The aim of the university is to arm the youth of this country with the relevant industry skills and latest knowledge. The University is UGC recognized and has the approval of AICTE, ICAR, NCTE, PCI, and DGMS.

The students get a variety of placement, internships opportunities in the university, which is facilitated by the Training and Employment Cell. The AKS University Admissions are offered for courses in disciplines like Engineering and Technology, Computer Science, Management, Commerce, Pharmacy, Spiritual Studies, Basic Science, Bio-Technology, Meditation, Yoga, etc.

The University is run by the Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions. Apart from academics, AKSU also concentrates on research and development. The University has a Centre of Excellence in Bio-Technology Research and Training [CEBRT]. This Centre is a part of the Department of Biotechnology.

• The Unversity was ranked 27th in Best University Ranking 2018 by India Today.
