All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society was started in the year 1917. It was founded by Late Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur and H.H Late Alija Bahadur Mahadavroa Scindia Maharaj of Gwalior. It was established to the noble cause of education.

This institute has a Training and Placement Cell to help students with placements.

AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune Eligibility Criteria:

Course	Eligibility Criteria
Diploma	Candidates must pass SSC (10th) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or CBSC/ICSE. Candidates who have done an equivalent of SSC in General Science and or Physics and Chemistry/ Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry along with English are also eligible.
Diploma {Lateral Entry}	Candidates must pass HSC (12th) in Science, Vocational subjects or NCTVT/ITI or XII MCVC are eligible for admission to direct the second year.

AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune Admissions:

AISSMS Admissions is done as per the rules prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.
The eligibility criteria are also considered for admissions.

AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune Hostel Details:

AISSMS Infrastructure Facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls.
These hostels can accommodate around 200 girl students and 100 boys students.
Amenities such as a single bed, a chair, a table and suitable storage facility are available for the students.
The dining hall at the hostel serves healthy and delicious meals.
