Infrastructure Facilities at AISSMS College of Pharmacy, [AISSMSCOP] Pune:

• Administration Area: This area is designed at the ground floor of the Institute for easy accessing of students and outside people. This section is very spacious. It includes different sections as per the functioning such as principal cabin, reception area, waiting area, inquiry section, account and finance.

• Annual Maintenance Contract [AMC] Services: This section is made to check, inspect and resolve the issues related to sophisticated equipment in different laboratories and support services.

• Animal House: AISSMSCOP has a well-ventilated animal house. It has built an area of 80 sq mt. This animal house is maintained in accordance with CPCSEA guidelines. Sections in this animal house include:

  • Quarantine Section
  • Store Room
  • Surgical Room
  • Breeding Section
  • Animal Stock Room
  • Experimental Room
  • Cleaning Area

• Auditorium: It has an adequate seating arrangement, LCD projector and motorized projector screen, audio-visual system with power backup facilities. Seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures etc are organized here.

• Bank and Post Office Services: Bank of Maharashtra and Bank of Baroda offers banking facilities to all the institutions under the umbrella of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society. ATM facilities are also available on the campus. Nearby post offices and courier services are also available.

• Barrier Free Facility: This institute has facilities such as Ramp, wheelchair and lifts for easy access to college infrastructure and learning resources for the differently-abled and aged people.

• Canteen: There are two canteens on the campus. These canteens serve during college hours. It serves a variety of snacks, breakfast and lunch at an affordable rate.

• Chemical Store: The central chemical store has separate sections for acids, solid chemicals and inflammable solvents and also chemicals to be stored in bonded facilities.

• Classrooms: Classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. These classrooms are equipped with audio-video teaching aids like a blackboard, digital smart board, liquid crystal display projector and overhead projectors.

• Computer and Internet Laboratory: The computer lab at this institute is air-conditioned. It has unrestricted internet access with bandwidth 16+2 Mbps. It is equipped with computers and printers.

• Departmental Library: Each department at this institute has its own library.

• Hostel: The central hostel facility of AISSMS can accommodate 200 girl students and 100 boy students. Hostel rooms are on twin sharing basis. Each student is provided with a single bed, a chair, a table and a suitable locker. This hostel has a dining hall where healthy, delicious meals are provided at reasonable rates. It has a separate TV room. A Separate visitor's room is also available at this hostel. This hostel also has a parking facility.

• Laboratories: This institute has 18 laboratories. All laboratories are equipped with modern facilities and instruments.

• Library: The library at this institute has separate sections such as Administrator and book issue section, reading area, reference section, journal section, E-Library. Books at this library are segregated subject wise and are given accession number. It is well stocked with books, titles and journals as well as electronic resources. This library also has an institutional membership with Jaikar Laboratory and British Library Pune. It also offers a book bank and reprographic facility. This library is also automated.

• Medical and Emergency Services: This institute offers medical facilities  for students and staff. It has signed MoU with Surya Hospital which is just 1 km from the campus. There also many other hospitals within a few km of radius of this college in case of emergency.
