• Through an online application, 50% of seats are filled directly on the Ahmedabad University Admissions portal, based on the Joint Entrance Test(JEE) results.
• Through the Admission committee professional courses (ACPC), 50% of seats are allocated.
• First Attempt Scores of JEE (Main) may be submitted right away and second Attempt Scores may be added subsequently.
• Each student is advised to deposit approximately INR 10,000/- per year for study material and textbooks.

Scholarships at Ahmedabad University, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences:

Need-based Scholarship:

• Financial-aid is provided to the deserving students to support them for education.
• Students have to maintain a minimum of CGPA 2.0 in a given year.
• It is provided for a half or even complete waiver of tuition fees.

Merit Scholarship:

• Scholarships are awarded to accomplished students in their first year of studies who perform well in academics. 
• Merit Scholarships will be awarded to the first year students at the time of admission.
• It will provide a 100% waiver of the tuition fees for the first year.
• B. Tech students are eligible for a full waiver of the tuition fees for four years which are admitted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) set up by the Government of Gujarat.
