Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady is passing 12th standard in science  with compulsory Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Kerala engineering entrance examination merit list is considered for admission.

Placements & Internships : The internship was done in Keltron Controls, Aroor. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, CTS, Mindtree, Mphasis etc come for campus placements. I am placed in TCS with a CTC of Rs 3,33,475/- per annum. There is a strong alumni network

Academics & Faculty : In Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady class hours are from 8:45am to 4:10pm. Teaching methods are above average Overall experience is satisfactory.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : In Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady, there are two hostels, one for girls and other for boys. Hostel fee is Rs 3500/- per month. The canteen and hostel food is purely vegetarian and is above average. Classrooms , Labs, and Wi-Fi facilities are average. The library facility is very poor.

Clubs & Associations : In Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady, there are a variety of clubs such as nature club, blood donation cell etc and each department has separate associations which conduct multiple activities throughout the year. Also, social service activities are conducted by every department yearly. Main festivals are Annual Techno- cultural fest -BRAHMA, Arts and sports. College life is fun in general.
