The Adarsha College of Engineering, Odisha is one of the most reputed institutes for technical education and research in India. Recognized for its strong relations with the industry, the Institute has always been a preferred destination of recruitment for many corporate houses. Adarsha College of Engineering is located in the city of Angul, Odisha which is the place for many PSU, Mining and Manufacturing companies. Training and Placement Cell is an integral component of our college. We have complete and effective infrastructure for the perfect functioning of the Training and Placement cell. We have designed Training and Placement cell to function with a high degree of professionalism.

Training:

We are located in one of the Asia's most developing industrial zones, Angul. The students of the Adarsha College of Engineering edges most of the engineering students of other technical institutions. Here at Adarsha College of Engineering, students visit industries of the nearby location (within a radius of 50 km) twice in a month. Students of final year have their special vocational training in leading industries of Angul district. Pre-Final year students of B. Tech/Degree program undergo a mandatory internship in leading organizations as a part of their college curriculum. This empowers them to tackle live problems that occur while working in an industry. These internships and vocational training, keep our students informed about latest industrial trends and technology.

Placement:

As the college is located in one of the most developing industrial belts of Asia, the students have plenty of options for campus drive. We provide almost instantaneous data of students to the corporate sector that are available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the preserved requirements of the company. Our efforts have borne fruit in achieving academic-industrial relationship and we are proud that our students are getting placed in leading corporate houses of India. We provide top class of infrastructure to the corporate sector to facilitate the campus selection programs.

The Training & Placement Cell regularly organizes 'Industry-Institute Interaction', in order to accomplish 'Industry-Institute Interaction'. TPC organizes technical talks and seminars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. The college regularly organizes seminars, curricular activities and PPT (Pre Placement Training) for final year students. To coordinate the placement activities the college has a separate Placement cell Headed by Prof. Prabina Kumar Bisoi (Placement Officer) and Abanikant Sarangi (Administrative Officer). The placement cell manages its activities collectively by the students and all head of departments.

Salient Features of Training and Placement Cell

• The TPC is run jointly by the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) and the Administrative Officer. They are assisted by HOD of all departments and student representatives from various disciplines.
• It puts serious efforts to improve the quality of the students by organizing trainings, motivational talks, seminars, workshops, etc. through best-available experts.
• Organizing various technical seminars for different disciplines, group discussions, pre-placement talks and inviting prominent people to ACE has been another hallmark of the TPC.
