Parul University wins the Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation at FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024, recognizing its outstanding global partnerships and international education initiatives.
Parul University, based in Vadodara, was recently honored with the Jury Award for Excellence in Globalisation at the prestigious 19th FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2024. This accolade highlights the university’s continued commitment to advancing global education and aligns with the goals of NEP 2020, which emphasize internationalization at the institutional level.
The FICCI awards are designed to celebrate and acknowledge academic institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance in enhancing the quality, accessibility, and global relevance of higher education in India. This year’s ceremony brought together leaders and stakeholders from across the academic spectrum, reaffirming the crucial role of universities in building globally competent learning ecosystems.
Parul University has made remarkable strides in fostering international collaborations and providing transformative educational experiences. Through strategic global partnerships, robust semester exchange and pathway programs, and a globally aligned curriculum, the university equips its students and faculty with the skills and exposure necessary to thrive in a connected world.
With over 1,000 students and faculty members sent abroad and more than 500 international students and professors hosted on campus, the university has actively embraced international mobility. Its Center for International Relations and Research (CIRR) has spearheaded numerous initiatives—from overseas summer schools and internships to master’s projects and the International Distinguished Professor program, which brings global faculty to campus for extended engagements.
Parul University’s diverse student body includes participants from countries like Spain, Germany, and Italy, creating a multicultural academic environment that enriches learning and promotes cross-cultural exchange. International students regularly engage in semester programs and short-term academic offerings, earning academic credits while immersing themselves in India’s educational and cultural landscape.
