NID DAT Application Form 2026 (Closed): Register Online for B.Des/M.Des – Direct Link & Fees

The NID application for B.Des and M.Des 2026 is now available. The deadline to submit the application form is December 1, 2025. To apply for the NID DAT 2026, candidates needed to register and create an applicant account. Next, they must log in to their candidate account, complete all relevant fields, upload documents, and pay the exam fee. 

The application fee for NID DAT 2026 is INR 3,000 in the General category. The window for editing the application form for B.Des and M.Des will be open from December 02, 2025, to December 04, 2025.

Documents Required for NID DAT Application Form 2026

Check the list of documents that are required to fill out the application form.

1. A scanned recent passport-size photograph shot professionally in a studio and in color, following the guidelines provided. Self-composed portraits will not be allowed.
2. A digital scan and crop of your signature.
3. To be eligible for reservation benefits, you must upload a caste certificate.
4. If you are from the SC or ST categories, please send your caste certificate for reservation.
5. If you fall under the PwD category, please provide a disability certificate issued by a reputable medical authority.
6. If you are applying under the abroad category, please send scanned copies of both the front and back pages of your passport, including all personal information.

Steps To Fill NID DAT Application Form 2026

Follow the steps below to fill out the application form.

Step 1 Registration: Click on the link provided above. Choose a program of study, and then enter information such as your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, etc. After successfully registering, a unique applicant account will be generated.
Step 2 Log in to complete the form: You can log in to your account using your email address and birth date. Fill out all of the essential fields on the application form, including educational credentials, contact information, and personal information. You will also need to select an NID 2026 exam center.
Step 3 Upload the documents: In the penultimate step, upload scanned copies of your signature, photograph, and category documents as per the specified format.
Step 4 Pay the Fees: Once the application fees have been paid, the application procedure will be finished, and the application cannot be amended. Therefore, make sure the application is comprehensive in every way.

NID DAT Application Correction 2026

The window to amend the NID DAT 2026 application form closes when the application form does. Candidates might make changes to the NID DAT 2026 application form by using the edit window. Only certain information in the form can be modified; other elements, such as name, date of birth, and so on, cannot be changed.

When the 'Window to Edit Application Form' appears, candidates can change the details entered into the application form except for the Program Applied, Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Registered Mobile Number, and Registered Email ID, according to the amendment issued on October 27, 2025.

Candidates who modify their applied category or gender during the "Window to Edit Application Form" period must pay applicable fees in addition to the application fees. However, no reimbursement of excess costs will be issued in the event of a category or gender change.

The exam center, address, uploaded documents, and other details can all be updated. So take caution when filling out the form.

They can verify and modify their NID admission papers for 2026 by entering their email address and date of birth. Certain details cannot be edited by candidates, including:
