Parul University’s Navratri 2025 brought together 5,500+ students from 75+ countries for a vibrant celebration of Garba, culture, unity, and global friendship on campus.
Vadodara’s Parul University transformed into a vibrant hub of music, dance, and cultural exchange as over 5,500 students from 75+ countries came together to celebrate Navratri 2025. The university’s Garba ground turned into a dazzling arena of rhythm and colour, filled with the beats of Gujarat’s traditional Garba and Dandiya.
The nine nights were marked by joyful performances, festive décor, and cultural unity, as students danced with boundless energy. From colourful decorations and twinkling lights to specially designed selfie spots, every corner of the campus radiated festive charm, creating memorable moments of friendship and celebration.
At the heart of the festivities was the much-awaited International Garba Night, where students from nations including Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi, Lesotho, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and many more joined the celebration. Donning traditional chaniya cholis and kediyus, they brought unique international flavours to the traditional dance circles. The night stood as a living testament that culture knows no boundaries—each step symbolising unity in diversity.
Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, RJ Kshitij and his band elevated the celebrations with their dynamic performances, shifting seamlessly from soulful Garba melodies to high-energy tracks that kept the crowd on its feet until late into the night.
For many international students, the experience was nothing short of magical. “I never thought I’d find myself dancing Garba in Gujarat,” shared a student from Mozambique. “But the joy is contagious—once the music starts, you can’t help but join in.” A student from Bhutan described it as “a blend of fun, friendship, and culture that makes you forget where you’re from, because in that moment, everyone belongs to the same rhythm.”
Reflecting on the celebration, Dr. Parul Patel, President of Parul University, remarked: “Navratri at PU is not just a festival, it is an experience. Our students get to witness the beauty of Gujarat’s traditions while sharing their own cultures with the world.”
Beyond the lights, music, and dance, Navratri 2025 at PU became a true cultural convergence, bringing together thousands of voices, footsteps, and traditions into one shared heartbeat. What began as Gujarat’s iconic festival evolved into a global celebration of unity, friendship, and togetherness—reinforcing PU’s identity as not just an academic institution, but a vibrant global family.
