The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, popularly called as Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) is a hospitality school located in various locations in India, The IHMs was established by the Ministry of Tourism. IHM Mumbai

The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, was the first amongst the IHMs in India. The institution was established in 1954 by the All India Women’s Central Food Council under the leadership of Late Smt. Lilavati Munshi. The campus is ranked number 2 by Outlook and 3rd by India Today. IIHM Mumbai offers programs like BSc Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Diploma in Food Production (National Council), 3 months craft course – cookery, 3 months craft course – bakery and few other training programmes.

IHM Bangalore

The Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore is ranked first as the best IHMs in India among the other similar institutions. The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Chennai was established in 1963 by the Government of Tamil Nadu along with the support of the Government of India. Institute of Hotel Management: Eligibility Criteria

The admission criteria for the candidates to secure a seat  into IHM institutions in India are given below

• The applicant should have completed 10th and +2 with an aggregate of 50 percentage of marks from any recognized board of education.
• The candidate should clear the NCHM JEE 2020 with the required merit score.
• For candidates applying for post-graduation must have a bachelor's degree in hotel management from AICTE approved universities
• For candidates applying for Diploma and PG Diploma the upper age limit is 25 years and 28 for reserved categories
