LPU To Host A Conference On "The Global Perspective on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Unborn"

This is the second time LPU will be hosting the Indian Science Congress; the first one was in the time 2019. The 109th Indian Science Congress, to be hosted by Lovely Professional University (LPU), is proud to advertise a series of different conferences and  sessions under the theme "The Global Perspective on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Unborn."

This prestigious event will bring together famed Nobel laureates, scientists, experimenters, academicians, experts, originators, and policymakers from around the world to engage in conversations and develop strategies for sustainable growth across colorful fields. The Indian Science Congress will feature an expansive line-up of conferences and sessions, each fastening on different themes that emphasize the critical part of wisdom and technology in shaping a sustainable world. The schedule for the conference is as follows:

• The conference will commence with the induction of the Indian Science Congress and a  grand lecture program on January 3rd, 2024.
• The second day will witness the induction of the Children's Science Congress, Women's Science Congress, Farmers ’ Science Congress, and the Science Agents' Meet.

The Children's Science Congress will give a unique platform for children aged 10- 17 times to showcase their scientific disposition and knowledge by conducting scientific trials, fostering their creativity and thirst for scientific disquisition.

The Women's Science Congress will aim to fete and appreciate the benefactions of women in wisdom while promoting gender equivalency in exploration and invention.

The Science  Agents' Meet will concentrate on brainstorming effective ways of propagating scientific information and nurturing a scientific station among the millions. The Growers’ Science Congress will address the pivotal part of growers in shaping a sustainable world through climate-flexible husbandry, entrepreneurship models, and digital advancements.  

• The third day will witness the induction of the  Science and Society Congress and the Ethical Science Congress. The Science and Society Congress will claw into the interface between wisdom, society, and sustainable development, with a particular focus on ethical considerations.

The Ethical Science Congress will gather scientists, experimenters, and policymakers to show indigenous knowledge systems, sustainable livelihood practices, and traditional ethical culture. In addition to these sessions, the congress will host conferences on colorful motifs to probe into specific areas of scientific exploration and invention. These motifs include drugs, mathematics, chemistry, beast, veterinary, and fishery lores, earth system lores, and numerous others.

Each conference will explore advancements in the separate fields and their benefactions to sustainable development, environmental conservation, and resource operation. Likewise, the event will feature a wisdom exhibition called "Explorica," which will showcase prominent developments, major achievements, and significant benefactions of Indian Science and Technology to society. Leading scientific institutions are anticipated to share in the exhibition, pressing India's emergence as a major power in colorful sectors particularly among the student community.  

Ashok Kumar Mittal, Author Chancellor of LPU and Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, expressed his enthusiasm for the 109th Indian Science Congress conference and exhibition, emphasizing its part as a platform for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

This mega gathering will mark LPU's alternate time hosting the prestigious event, with the former occasion being in 2019. The event aims to pave the way for a brighter and more sustainable future.
