  • Eligible candidates can apply directly at the campus office by filling in the application form for the M.Tech Course.

  • Admissions to the M.Tech course is based on the merit of the valid GATE-2019 score, however in case of non-availability of sufficient GATE candidates. NON-GATE candidates will be considered for vacant seats.

B.Tech/ MCA:

  • Admission to the B.Tech and MCA courses will be through a centralized counselling procedure conducted by Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University based on the merit of candidates in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE-2019).

  • Documents required

    • Allotment letter issued by UPSEE

    • Admit card for SEE-AKTU

    • Grade X and Grade XII mark sheets

    • Transfer/ Migration Certificate

    • Category Certificate (if applicable)

    • Medical Certificate in prescribed format

    • Income Certificate (applicable for category students)

    • Receipt of fee deposited in the counselling centre.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • To participate in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, [KNIT] admissions 2019, the candidates must have to pass [10+2] or any equivalent examination from any recognized board.

  • Candidate must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

  • The cutoff is reduced to 40% for SC/ST category candidates.
  • The candidates who have appeared the 12th examination and waiting for results are also eligible to apply, but their admission is subject to the furnishing of further proof within the time specified by the institution.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

  • For admission to the MCA course, the candidate must have passed the qualifying examination for a Bachelor's Degree course with a minimum duration of three years from a recognized University/ Institution.

  • Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate.

  • Cutoff relaxed by 5% for reserved category candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

  • To get admission in M.Tech programs, the candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline, obtained through the [10+2+4] system

  • Candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized University.

  • The candidates must have a valid score card of GATE-2019.

  • Eligibility is 12th pass, Admission procedure is through U.P.T.U. sometimes known as G.B.T.U. but Formerly known as Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, that passes the competition exam of UPSEE (UTTAR PRADESH STATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION).
  • Seats are filled through UPSEE Exam and some seats are also filled through AIEEE Exam.
  • Cutoff changes every year and cutoff is also vary from college to college also depends on Engineering branch.
  • If your score is above 500 then your rank will be good.

The Eligibiity criteria for getting admission in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is 10+2 Examination.

Admission is also given through upsee entrance exam.

Cut off lies between 3000 to 6000 rank but for computer science and engineering you need to rank under 4000.

The admission procedure for B.Tech(Computer Science and Engineering) in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, [KNIT] Sultanpur is as follows :

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B.TECH) PROGRAMMES

    • (a) Eligibility Requirements                                                  
      As notified by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.
    • (b) Mode of Admission
      (i) The admission to First Year B.Tech. and M.C.A. Programmes will be made through the counseling conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, based on the merit of candidates in the State Entrance Examination (SEE) except for Other State Nominees which are nominated by the Government of India.
      (ii) The candidate after participating in the counseling is required to report at the institute on the date mentioned in the Allotment letter.
      (iii) The Candidate is required to submit the following documents at the time of reporting at the Institute for registration:

 

      • Allotment Letter issued by SEE-UPTU
      • Admit Card by SEE-UPTU, if admit card is submitted at counseling centre, then photocopy of the admit card
      • Original Certificate of high School (for proof of the age)
      • Original mark sheet of qualifying (10+2) examination
      • Original Character Certificate in prescribed format issued by Head of the Institute last attended

Technical University on the basis of merit of candidates in SEE-UPTU

(v)Admission on migration/ transfer from other University/College is not permitted.

(vi)Domicile requirement, age limit and medical standards are the same as prescribed in the information Brochure of SEE-UPTU
