OPJU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:
- At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (Class XII) with sciences Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Language Subjects). A relaxation of 5% marks in class XII will be made for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
- Performance in JEE Mains and/or Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) and/or OP Jindal University entrance test (OPJUET) and/or followed by Interview.
- For B. Tech Lateral Entry (2nd Year - 3rd Semester) admission -As per AICTE norms.
- Candidates who have requisite qualifications from foreign universities or boards of Higher education recognized as equivalent to the +2 stage of India by the Association of India Universities (AIU) are eligible for admission.
OPJU B.Tech Admission:
The admission process for B.Tech Course will be done online and the procedure is listed below:
- Apply (Online/Offline) for the programs at OPJU School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Science.
- The application should be accompanied by an Application Fee of Rs. 500* for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programme and Rs 2000 for Doctoral Programme payable online (Internet banking/Credit/Debit card) or Cash/DD/Bank Transfer.
- A merit list will be announced for eligible candidates for each round. The shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for Counselling. On the subject to fulfillment of requisite conditions, eligibility, and verification of documents a provisional admission offer letter will be issued to the candidate. The candidate is required to deposit the fee within the stipulated date.
- If the candidate doesn’t pay the fee by the stipulated date, the admission would be deemed canceled and the seat will become vacant for the next round of Counseling.
- There will be three rounds of Counseling and after that, if there are any unfilled seats, it will be filled on the basis of rolling Counseling (First come first serve basis).
- Candidates of Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC) of Chhattisgarh domicile and Female Candidates are exempted from Application Fee.
