For my batch 2010, there were no internships and training. But in the latest curriculum, they have 3 internships compulsory but college rarely provides for it. One needs to find it on their own.
There are 2-3 hostels, only the boy's hostel is on campus. The girl's hostel is almost 1km away from the campus.
The annual fee of the hostel is currently 80k.
It is more convenient to opt for a PG just behind the college with many more facilities.
The classrooms are well maintained and so are the Labs and Libraries.
The eligibility criteria are through entrance exams, if you are from Karnataka then you can take the CET entrance exam or COMEDK for students from Bengaluru or other states.
Also, they have admissions through Management quota.
The education system is pretty decent. The staff is really helpful and teaches the students well.
The method of teaching is average.
HKBK College of Engineering, [HKBKCE] Bangalore B.Tech Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.25 Lakh per annum.
The fee is pretty high but they do consider reducing it if requested.
These charges are excluding the exam fees and other extracurricular activities. For that, you need to pay an additional fee.
There are certain scholarships for minorities but nothing on the basis of merit
There were no clubs and societies in college. But currently, they are taking initiatives.
There is a one-day fest and freshers cum ethic day once a year. Both in alternate semesters. Some events that might be organized by different departments and don't necessarily happen every year.
