Placements and Internships

3.5

students witnesses above average placements with MNCs like Microsoft picking up about half a dozen students at a whopping 10 lakh package as well. Others got around Rs 3.5 to 4.5L per annum. Major recruiters are Tata Motors, Infosys, IBM, Zensar, Wipro etc. The college easily manages to place over 80% of its students.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

Excellent campus, makes you feel like you've become a part of the army training, although the courses offered are nothing related to that. The library is air-conditioned. Classrooms are decent and labs are well equipped. Presently AIT has 3 hostels within the campus, two for boys and one for girls. Sports facility for indoor/outdoor sports is also available. A shopping complex exists within the campus to cater for day to day requirements of the inmates like stationery, food, general stores etc.

Academics and Faculty

4

college academic schedule is good.smart classes are provided by the institution which makes it more interactive and imformative too simultaneously tutorials class test are taken which makes us study regularally.mini projects are there which not only make us go deep on the subject but also teach us how to give seminars and presentation on the topic making our soft skills better. talking about quality and methodology of teaching is good.teachers are higly qualified though due to regular 6 hours of lecture our focus goes little down but still they motivate us by there words and bring us on the track again. they are so supportive that they frankly tell us to ask anything or afterwards if still some doubts remain.

Fees and Scholarships

4

college fees is around Rs 1.40 lakh which is little high for some students.scholarships is there to support the financially weak students.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There are many social social clubs which participate in the fest.Pace is the sports festival held in the 1st week of February. Aakriti is the cultural cum sports festival.

Academics & Faculty : Classes at AIT started at 9h and went on till 1 when the classes break for lunch. Classes commence at 2 and then the day ends at 4 p.m. I did a CS majors from AIT and there was a good mix of theory and practical classes. There were regular assignments to be taken care of. We had a semester system and each semester ended with exams (viva voce, practicals and 8 theory exams). Overall the course covers 40 subjects in the 4 years, the first year being common across engineering streams. The library was relatively well equipped but the number of copies of each book were rather limited. Faculty at AIT was a bit of a concern. Since all faculty was local there was a very distinct accent and I wouldn't say any of the faculty was world class. I would rate the faculty standards strictly mediocre. Hence my rating of 8
