Khushboo Nandwani's Review on Sigma Institute of Physiotherapy, [SIOP] Baroda

Since I am a physiotherapy student and studying in third year, I have no idea regarding placement in marketing, sales etc.

The institute itself has hostel for girls in the campus and boys hostel is a bit away from the college. I am a girl student and have spent 2 years in the Sigma Girls Hostel and trust me the experience was not so good. When I joined hostel the fees was 50,000 per year and it is increased a bit now. The hostel has not very impressing facilities. You will suffer from water crisis atleast once in a day. The food is not so impressive. You will find lizards in every room ( 2-4 per room

The eligibilty criteria for admission in BPT is passing the board exams of 12th Science (PCB) and clearing the entrance examination for admission. The entrance examination which I attempted were NEET, GUJ-CET, MH-CET, AIIMS and JIPMER. The cutoffs for every entrance exam vary every year.

The daily timing of our college is 9:45 am to 4:15 pm. In our course we have clinical postings from third year from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm then break from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm ( very less time for break

When I got admission the course fee was 65000 per year and is continuing with that only. But for new batches it has increased from last year. Scholarships options are from government that is MYSY and other scholarships are for reserved candidates ( SC, ST, OBC). I have taken education loan from SBI bank with very low interest as compared to other banks. For loan you will be requiring the following documents which will make loan process easy. 1. Admission order from college 2. Fee structure of the course 3.Id proof : Aadhar card and PAN card necessarily. 4.Bonafide certificate from the college 5.Passport size photograph 6.12th std marksheet

From every year the cultural co-ordinators, class co-ordinators, subject co-ordinators and NSS coordinators are selected. There are various competitions held in college which include cultural programs, Poster competitions, Mehendi competitions, Hairstyling, Nail art, Debate, Quiz etc. The days ( Group day, Sports day, Traditional day, Executive day, Bollywood day etc.) are well spent with great excitement and willing participation ( the best part of college life
