Sajal Gupta's Review on Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology

Placements are mostly for IT/CS Branch in this college, there are very few core companies that come in here.

Infrastructure is okay and there are 2 hostels, 1 boys and 1 girls hostel, however the food in college hostel mess isn't good, while outside college you will find a lot of other hostels and PGs to live which provide good lunch outside the gate of the college. Speaking of classes and key infrastructure like lab, library etc, they are good.

I am studying Mechanical engineering in this college and its a good college for engineering. I took admission via UPSEE exam and the cut off was around 18k for mechanical engineering. The placement, however, is mostly for IT/CS branch.

College starts at 9:30 AM and runs till 5:00 PM. Everyday classes end at different timings like somedays class will end at 3:20 while somedays it will end at 4:10. We have to submit assignments for every unit covered in the class as it carries internal marks. Teaching is good in here. Overall it's a nice college!

Fees is okay for an engineering college, I am in 2nd year right now. The course fee for 2nd year is INR 1,09,608.00, and for 3rd and 4th year fees are almost similar.

There are a lot of clubs in the college which will help you to interact with other branches students and do something more than just academics. Our college organizes a cultural fest named as 'UNIFEST' in March, the fest is something every student is keen to participate in, apart from the Unifest there are a lot of departmental fests and club fests as well. Overall it provides a good college life.
