Karthick Krish's Review on Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr Rangarajan Dr Sakunthala Engineering College, Chennai

 I did my internship in BSNL during my third semester. It was for a certificate course and stipend was about Rs.100 per day. It was recommended by my department faculty.

Placements are very good here compared to other Anna University affiliated colleges. Core companies offer 70,000 for freshers but everyone won't be placed in core companies. Many non-core companies also offer the job to almost every girl when compared with boys. Being a second-year student, I won't be able to comment regarding the placements, but my seniors got placed in core companies. Around 5-10 companies visit the campus for placements. So I hope that we can shine in this college regarding the placements.

I think we have a good relationship with our Alumni's. They are very supportive and helpful in the development of our department regarding Placements and Higher Education

Our hostel is one of the best hostels in south India. Hostelers will be given 24hrs water facility, electricity. Room service will be done twice a day. Coming to the food, you won't leave the food once you eat it. That is how it will be. They will provide non-veg everyday night (except Saturday). Hostelers will be given coffee, tea, milk, and buttermilk every day. Our hostel has separate grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball. The hostel fee around Rs.85,000 per year.

Infrastructure is absolutely good. Wi-Fi speed is very good and much faster. Classrooms are projected with a projector and classrooms are decent. The campus is full of trees and prevents the scorching heat of the sun during summer. The library is equipped with up to date books and journals. We can access papers of journals like IEEE from the college campus for free. Quality of food in the mess is not up to the expected level. But There will be canteen in each block where delicious and tasty foods are available.

Vel Tech Multi Tech is one of the Anna University Affiliated college.so, If you are interested to join in our college. You, first need to apply for online counseling. Later you will receive counseling date according to your marks, there you need to select the respective college(i.e Vel tech multi-tech counseling code:1118). The minimum eligibility for BE EEE course requires passing class 12th/ Higher Secondary Examination in Physics and Maths.

The entrance exam for engineering has not yet confirmed. So, no worries about the entrance exam.

The minimum cutoff mark required for BC Candidate is 144 for OC is 154.

The class starts 8:00AM in the morning and ends 3:30PM in between there will be 2 interval gap of each 10 minutes and a lunch break of 50 minutes. Where I have enough time to enjoy my meal. Each month there will be 2 unit exam conducted to test our understanding skills and a weakly assignment is given by each subject faculty.

Our department has the best faculties. They give us a detailed clarification of our doubts. Everyone will respond to us in a friendly manner. All the faculties are well educated and experienced as well. They have good knowledge about the subject.

The overall experience is good, really awesome to be a part of vel tech multi-tech.

Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College, Chennai Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,00,000 to 1,20,000 per year(with transportation). Unlike another college, this is the only college with no donation.

Yes, they do provide good scholarships for the merit students. One of my friends got a 100 percent scholarship. Scholarships for first graduates are provided, and fee discounts and exemptions are provided if you are from a backward class or economically backward. 

Loan facilities are provided with the help of Vijaya bank. All the formalities are taken by the institution and made loan facilities easy and convenient.

Games such as kabaddi cricket, football, chess, volleyball, throwball, and carrom conducted on the campus. A gym is available for students to be healthy and fit.

The college, with its conducive environment, hosts cultural and symposiums to hone the talents of many students. It provides a platform for students to exhibit their skills. Ragging is vehemently discouraged and those doing it, even in the hostels, are expelled from the campus. There are technical fests year long organized by students which help students to improve their skills in different fields. Events will be occurring every week. A Symposium will be conducted in a year only by Students. People all over South India will be joined mostly so there will be the best exploration. The cultural fest will be occurring a year organized only by the students. Regarding Campus surroundings, it is one of neat and Beautiful campus in India.
