Placements and Internships

5

Even in those days, there was a good campus placement cell with some of the best engineering firms hiring. The IT bellwethers have a sgnificant presence, but some of the less frequently observed, core engineering firms also hire here, offering students a diverse array of career paths

Academics and Faculty

4.5

Excellent, experienced faculty, good variety of courses in all specializations. Most professors, especially the good ones, are accessible outside of class hours to help or assit students

Fees and Scholarships

5

All kinds of government scholarships exist, enabling financially challenged students to study here. There are other quotas as well and admission used to be through the single window system earlier, although not sure of the method of admission these days

Entrance Exams & Admissions : A good balanced percentage above 75% is essential, no entrance exam is required. I did mechanical engineering. To study in top most colleges a healthy cut off of 85% or more is required.
