Harshal Shahare's Review on IIIT Jabalpur - Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing

The stipend given here is based on MHRD rules. Nowadays, the stipend given to M.Tech students is INR 12400/- and to Ph.D students is INR 25000/-. The companies came here to hire are mostly IT comapnies and also hardcore coding based. The alumni network is very strong here.

There are about 3 Hostels in college where students live and one is in construction. Hostel has all sort of facilities like canteen, tv room, indoor game courts. Married PG are allowed to live outside of college campus. Hostel fee is about INR 6000/- per semester and the mess fee is about INR 14000/- per semester.

You need to qualify GATE exam before getting admitted for Master course in PDPM, IIITDM, Jabalpur. The cutoffs are different for different stream of Engineering.

The class timings and time schedule is very good for B.Tech students. The class exams are there like surprise test, mid term exam and end sem exam. The quality of teaching is good.

The course fee for M.Tech and B.Tech are based on their caste. For a general category M.Tech student, course fee is INR 30000/- per semester whereas for B.Tech students, it is about 66500. There are different scholarships available whose notification is being forwarded to all students as the date of notification of scholarship. 

Main governing body of college is Student Senate. Whereas there are lots of college festivals are there like Tarang, Gusto, Abhikalpan, etc. There are lots of clubs like astronomy, cad club, abhivyakti, arts and crafts, etc. The life is very cool and easily adaptive to new students.
