The Mess of the Hostel is run entirely on a non-profit basis under the supervision of the Superintendent. This hostel is for the male students of St Xavier's College only. It is under the management of the College. College Canteen Boys and Girls are allowed to go to the canteen. A mutual respect is expected from all. Canteen is opened at 6.30 a.m.-6.00 p.m. During holidays it will remain closed. Canteen is just to provide you light refreshment; Student is advised not to sit longer than 20 minutes.

The curriculum runs over the prescribed Syllabus of Ranchi University. According to me it is too standard and seems too easy to grasp. As far as practical learning is concerned we, it's not that prominent. The college is just amazing. Professors are so generous, helping students to do more, think more and become a great person. College campus is very good and everything is available in the college that should be there. There is a big playground and also an international gym and there are cafeterias. We don't like to go home because people, students are so good to talk and do many more things. I will recommend every single student to join this college. This is affiliated with A Grade by NAAC.
