Anchita Singh's Review on Miranda House, Delhi University

The placement cell of the college is very active. It coordinates the activities of the career counselling and campus recruitment. the reputation of the college and credibility of its teaching program aids the process of placements. Some of the recruiters include Standard Chartered Bank, Indian Express, Google, Ernest and Young, Max New York Life Insurance Company, Wipro etc. Miranda House alsocoordinates with Indo-US Forum for the internship programs of the students.

The college building is well-built, well maintained and Classy. It has one of the finest building among the colleges in the north campus. Built in British reign, it is the part of the Heritage of India. the classrooms are big and spacious and the so are the labs. Every department has its own library with a central library. free wi-fi facility is availed by the students in the campus. an activity room is provided to the students where they can conduct various workshops and seminars. The college has a huge auditorium, a gym and a big sports ground. The canteen area is lovely with a wide variety of food articles where usually the students chill and relax after the classes. 

Miranda House comes under the top colleges of the delhi university. It is placed third among Science Colleges and fifth among the arts colleges in India. It offers a wide array of courses to different sudents. Along with mainstream courses, it also offers a career-oriented add-on course on Tourism that can be opted for by the students as a parallel sub-discipline while pursuing their degree level education. the eduction pattern is similar to that of other colleges of the university. the main tests are conducted at the end of each semester while class tests and assignments goes on throughout the semester. The timings of the classes are  flexible ranging from 8.40 to 9.30. The teachers are young, friendly and cooperative. besides classes, tuts are also held for the students. 

The college has about 20 societies for various co-curricular activies acitivites helpins students in their overall development. these are very well managed by the students. Every soociety and club has its own leader. annual fest of each society is conducted during the fest season. the students through these societies keeps on participating in various competitons held in different college. the popular socities of the college include DEBSOC Debating Society, GEETANJALI Indian Music Society, Orhesus Western Dance Society.
