Students after getting their nautical science degree get their first posting as deck cadet where they earn up to 50000 per month. After cadetship, they get their rank as the third officer where they earn 150000 per month. The student has to pass the 12th exam and should be a Science student. The applicant should also pass the medical exam which includes eye test, hearing test, ECG, blood test. The applicant has to pass the MANET entrance exam held in the month of may. The applicant has to score minimum 50percent in English and 60 percent in physics chemistry maths.

The morning starts with PT/parade/ gym at 0600 hours. After physical training, we go for breakfast. Our class starts at 0900 hours and ends at 1640 hours. In between, we have the lunch break for 45 mins. Education is really good in my college. Methods of teaching are efficient and effective. My overall experience in this college is pretty good and memorable.
