I have done around 4 internships related to content writing. Mainly the consultancy firms such as KPMG are the key companies which hire students from our college. The salary offered is divided into various categories and generally goes around INR 8 lakh p.a.
The hostel is divided into two wings, one for the boys and another one for girls. Around 2 students from each course are accommodated and the overall living conditions are pretty good. The infrastructure is quite good with efficient labs.
The eligibility criteria for the course was completing plus 2 from any recognized boards or equivalent. There were no entrance examinations for my course as it was a merit-based admission procedure which is very similar to various non-professional courses around India. The typical cut off of my course goes around 93% for General 90 for OBC 88 for SC/St.
The classes for science students go from 9 am to 4 pm. The quality is never compromised and you will end up learning a lot if you get in tiuch with our professors.
My course fees are INR 14,000 per year. There are lots of scholarships available for various merit students both in academics and extra curricular. Loans don't play many roles in the payment of fees since it's pretty cheap and affordable.
Our college societies are the best across DU circuit. I am a part of various such societies such as the filmmaking one. Our main fest is just around the corner, NEXUS which is the pretty big event.
