Placements and Internships
- The placement cell of the college addresses both the academic and career concerns and opportunities available for final year students and internship programs available to Ist and IInd year students.
- The companies visiting Daulat Ram College, the University of Delhi for recruitment and internship programs include Ernest and Young, S&P Capital IQ, Wipro Technologies, KPMG, Tower Watson, Hdfc Life and Letsintern.
- The average package amounts to 2 lakhs.But students mostly prefer to opt for post-graduation rather than going for jobs because the annual package is very low.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The College has well-equipped labs and fully air-conditioned newly built library. If you are a regular reader, the library is a treat for you. the college has a big sports ground with recently built sports complex with the gym. The building is a bit old but well-maintained. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled but students may get difficulty in getting the password. The classes are small but well-ventilated. Every class has proper lighting and well furnished.
- There is a lack of separate rooms for different societies and clubs. But the college owns a huge auditorium, Sadbhavna Bhawan with has the capacity to occupy around about 2000 students. It is one of the biggest among the colleges in north campus.
Academics and Faculty
- The education pattern in Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi very basic and traditional like other colleges of the Delhi University. The practical application of subjects is less.
- The timings of the classes are very flexible ranging from 8.45am to 4.30pm. The time limit of each lecture is 55 min. Exams of 75 marks are conducted at the end of every semester. 20 marks constitute for internal assessment and 5 marks for attendance.
- An attendance of 66% is compulsory. So the compulsory attendance limit is less thus making students focus on other activities of the college. The teachers are experienced and cooperative. They focus more on interaction with students and discussions. The academic results of the college are always good and up-to-the-mark.
Fees and Scholarships
- The meritorious students of the college are awarded for their performance every year at the annual day function of the college. The categories include All Round Best Student of the College and University Position Holders. Certificates are also awarded to union members. Scholarships awarded to the students include
- Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarships awarded to IInd and IIIrd year students for securing first three positions in the University Examination of the previous year by the college.

- The college has various clubs and societies which provide an aid to the students for their overall development. they are actively managed and coordinated by the college girls. it provides a boost to the personality of the students. Among the various societies, the popular ones include Zenith- The Western Dance society, Alaya- The Music society, Mimesis- The Dramatics society and Debonair- The Fashion Society.
