No internship is provided by the college and also placement is not there. Take admission here only if u have no other choice.
Hostels are there, 2 for boys and one for girls. Hostel food is average. As no hostel food can be compared to home but its OK. Dining mess is satisfactorily clean. Meals cost are easy to afford so no need to worry on that front.WiFi access is also there.
Minimum of 55% marks is required in intermediate as eligibility criteria in this university. The admission process is simple as an entrance test which is easy to crack. An average student with a range of 60% and above can get admission here.
Academics are good. Teachers are very supportive and the whole staff is ready to help. But apart from being a lenient staff, there are also strict rules of the university regarding academics, attendance, and to be very frank, the teachers here only give marks to the person they know. No placement record is there as of yet.
Teachers take classes regularly and they teach well. The professors here are well qualified and trained and they know how to teach. The overall experience is good but it needs to improve their administration working as an autonomous govt. with no pressure from above.
Fees are very low. Thanks to the state govt. no loan is needed for the fees (excluding professional courses like MBA and B. Tech). Scholarship options are also there, with approximately 40 percent students get scholarships.
Nothing is there in the name of sports. Only a badminton court with table tennis is there which is also locked every time so practically there's no sport here. The life is very static and boring.
