Shivam Chaudhary's Review on ABES Institute of Technology (ABESIT)

I did the internship at Shri Ram Piston and Rings Ltd., It was organized by the college itself, it was no stipend internship, it was more for learning than earning. The key companies that come for recruitment are HP, HCL, Nucleus Software, Arabol Lubricants, Hercules Constructions, TCS, Genpact, Infotech, etc. The average salary packages provide are between 3lac-6.5lac. The highest package of the last batch was approx 7lac p.a., about 50% batch gets placement. The college provides a good alumni network they call their alumni time to time also they get connected through phone and social media also provide placement opportunities even after course completion.

The college provides its own hostel separately for girls and boys and also have strict rules. The rooms are well maintained with all essential facilities, the cist of the hostel is approx 70000 for a year. There are well condition and nearby PG facilities available for both girls and boys at approx 50000₹ per year of cost. The college has good food with good hygiene quality also the cost is very reasonable. The college has a 24hour wifi facility and has the modern infrastructure of the classroom, also has well-equipped labs with all essential equipment and apparatus, it also has various manufacturing labs and computer labs free for students to try any experiment under faculty guidance.

Abes Institute of Technology is one of the renounced colleges under AKTU. For the course of B.Tech mechanical branch eligibility criteria is minimum 60% in PCM in 12th, one can apply directly by qualifying a pen and paper test conducted by the college on its own. One can also apply through AKTU entrance exam counseling depending on the rank of 10000-15000. Also one can also take entry through their JEE mains rank by getting canceled in AKTU. One can also get free waiver seat into college through scoring good in AKTU entrance exam and achieving a good rank below 2000, free waiver seat does not require tuition fee to be paid.

The college has strict rules for the classes, students get detention if they don't attend classes, the classes are on regular basis weekly, also time to time various projects and assignments are given by teaching to assign internal.markings on students performance. Teachers take regular classes and have good interaction with students, students can also easily approach teacher regarding their doubts. The college is well equipped with modern labs and academic facility and with well-qualified faculty.

The course fee per year is approx 1.2lac. Scholarships are provided by the Uttar Pradesh government on the basis of one's score in academics, also the college also provides the scholarship to the college toppers. Approx 30% of students avail some or the other kind of scholarships. Loan depends on one's financial conditions, it could be easily availed from any bank government or private bank.

There are various clubs available like art and cultural club, Technical clubs for manufacturing and development, various sports clubs are also available. Ther college conduct mainly three events a year cultural fest, sports fest and placement fest. The life in college is very good with full independence to students all facilities are available for best academic and laboratories.
