Placements and Internships

2.5

You can apply for the internships through your college or you can look for an internship on your own. Internships take place for 45 days in the first year and a 5 months internship in the third year respectively. There are no campus interviews as such so that is the negative aspect that you may need to consider. Average salary per year you can get approx INR 1.2 lakh.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 2 hostels on the campus for boys & girls separately. For the PGs or any other options, you will need to find information on your own. There is a canteen located in the campus for food. The food quality is average and at a reasonable price.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria are 10+2 from any stream with a minimum of 40% marks for BBA (Hospitality & Tourism) and a minimum of 50% passing for BMHCT ( Bachelor's in Hotel Management & Catering Technology). The admissions take place usually from April to June. There is an entrance exam which you need to pass.

Academics and Faculty

2.5

Classes start at 8:30 am and end at 4:00 pm. The quality and method of teaching are very well. There is hardly any interactive learning and activities conducted related to the course in class. You will have to put in your own effort to understand the subject. Overall experience is average. If you just want the degree then this college is good enough but if you are looking for actual knowledge in hotel management then I would not recommend it.

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

The course fee for the BBA is around INR 65,000 per year and for the BHMCT it is INR 1 lakh per year. Scholarships aren't available unfortunately. But they do give discounts in fees for the underprivileged students. You may need loans or you may not. Loans can be availed at government banks or private banks.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

The main festivals are the Hotel Management department's food festival that happens around November or December every year. And there's a college gathering festival called Sanskriti that occurs around February.
