Placements and Internships
The companies that come to our college for placements are Infosys, Larsen and Toubro, Accenture, Wipro, and HCL. The average salary for an IT student is INR 3 lakh to INR 4 lakh per annum. The highest package went to INR 12 lakh per annum.One of the most notable alumni from our college is Taapse Pannu (actress). Other alumni from our college are placed in reputable companies as well.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The admission process in this college or any other college is through the IPU CET common entrance test. Based on your ranking in this test, you can apply for different colleges and different courses. Since I belong to the Sikh minority, I had some relaxation in the cutoffs (This is a Sikh minority college). I had a rank of 35,000 and got IT branch in the second counseling but for non-Sikh students, the cutoff is somewhere around 5,000 to 7,000. The eligibility criteria for appearing in IPU CET is that a student should have a minimum of 60% as aggregate in PCM in class 12th.
Fees and Scholarships
For information technology branch the fee is more than INR 1 lakh per annum. Scholarships are not currently available in our college.

Academics & Faculty : My college timings is 12:30p.m to 7p.m We have 2 sessionals and 1 final term in an semester. The quality of teaching is quite nice and apart from academics their is lot of events so that the student should active every place. My overall experience is good in college their is nice faculty and crowd.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine includes taking all the lectures. You can skip classes and do extra activities. Coming to college is not compulsory. Quality and method of teaching is below average.
