Naveen P's Review on ATME College of Engineering

Please forget about campus if you are joining any VTU college including ATMECE. Majority of campus interviews will be either internship or IT training Institutes. ATMECE is new college so it doesn't have such big alumni network.

I can't comment bad about infrastructure since, among any new colleges, ATMECE has a good building, computers, labs, and classrooms.

To study at ATMECE, you just need to have 50+% in PUC. You need to take KCET exam with a score of 70k rank. Usually cutoff will be between 30k to 70k depends on the category.

Class starts at 9:00 am to 1:15 pm, 4 class, after 2:00 pm usually 1 to 3 classes will be there. Quality and method of teaching are poor. In any college, quality of theoretical teaching is good but lags at practical. This is happening because the majority of faculty never had industrial exposure and syllabus of VTU is at Gandhi age. 

The course fee is 60k+(INR) per year for the general category. The management fee will cross 1lakhs(INR). No, an idea about scholarship since I belong to general category.

Non-curricular activities are somewhat. Softball in sports, Autoexpo, etc. Coming to college life, I used to travel 1st 2 years by bus and next 2 years by bike. Since college is far away from city, it's traveling by own transport is best option because we watch movies in theaters frequently. Near college, there is a canal to swim at just around 2 km. We made wonderful memories there.
