Gayatre Shankar's Review on SASTRA University, Thanjavur

I have done internships in BSNL and UNIQ Technologies and doing an internship in GetMyUni Education Pvt Ltd. My roles were a Web developer, Content writer, and technical roles. 

The companies like Microsoft, IBM, Paypal, MuSigma, Zoho etc., will visit and hire the students of Sastra University. The average salary will be of 3.5 per annum and mostly 95% of students get placed every year.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The number of girls hostel is 5 and 6 boys hostel where the different types of rooms as per the students wish. The hostel fee ranges from 8000-16000 per year excluding mess fee. The mess fee ranges from 3000-4000 per month but the food provided will be of good quality and different menus are also available for the students. 

The quality of classrooms are good and they provide labs for all schools, there are labs for chemical, bio-technology, computer science, mechanical and electrical department student will full facilities. The wi-fi is provided for the students in free but only for laptops not for any other device.

The eligibility criteria for the student is to secure 90% of marks in their higher secondary and JEE MAIN score is important.

The students have regular class from 8.45 AM to 5.15 PM. Each class lasts for 1hour. And there will be breaks in between 2 classes and lunch break of 1hour. There will be three mid-sem exams for internal marks and semester will for 100 marks and converted to 50 and added with the student's internal marks respectively. The quality and method of teaching will be excellent. The qualified professors will use appropriate tools for teaching.

The overall experience is, SASTRA UNIVERSITY provides the best platform for the students to start their career and provides lots of opportunities to express students ideas and provides all facilities to make a student comfortable.

The duration, of course, varies from 4-5 years. The course fee (Tuition Fee) per year will be Rs.90,000.The scholarships are available for the students who secured 8 CGPA and maintains that CGPA throughout the course and many scholarships are also provided to students.

The average number of students who get scholarship is 1000 per year.

If students want bank loan to pay their tuition fee, which is also provided by the organization during admission.

The main cultural event of Sastra in KURUKSASTRA which is full of fun event and Technical event is DAKSH and there are many clubs and events organised by each and every department and the college life in Sastra will be awesome and provide a best platform for the students future.
