Placements and Internships

I haven’t done any internship yet. Companies like Google, Deloitte hire our students with an average salary INR 3,50,000 per annum. We have good alumni network.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

We have hostel facility only for the NRIS. PG's are available outside the campus and costs INR 10,000-12,000 per month including the food.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Candidate must pass 12th from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. No separate entrance exam is conducted.

Academics and Faculty

The class start from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm. The quality and method of teaching are good. The overall experience in college was good.

Fees and Scholarships

My course fee is INR 20,000 to 40,000 per annum. Scholarships are available for Maharashtra students and it depends on castes. The educational loan is not required.

 

Clubs and Associations

We have many clubs like NSS, Centre for skill development, Symbiosis Centre etc. All festivals including Raksha Bandhan are celebrated in our college. The college life, in general, was good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : My college symbiosis college of arts and commerce (SCAC) is an autonomous college under Pune University. The minimum eligibility criteria is a pass out from 10+2. The admission procedure for BCom starts after the declaration of the 12th standard results on the basis of marks, every year there is cutoff if selected the person in the next 5 days has to come to campus with all documents of class 12 and two photocopies of each document. The first cut off for 2016 was 89% which eventually came down to 83%.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission for B.Com is done as per the merit list on the basis of the 10+2 results and this usually takes place in June. There is no Entrance Exam for getting admission in B.Com in this college. The cut off generally goes around 85%-90%
