Entrance Exams & Admissions : At the time of my joining Vemana Institute of Technology in 2013, it was a well-established Engineering college located in Koramangala. The eligibility criteria in terms of joining the institute were not available as a strict regiment. C.E.T rankings for Engineering in various courses starting from Mechanical to Civil were accepted for students who have secured ranks well beyond 65000. Since I joined as a management student, I didn't have to go through any filtering process. Vemana Institute of Technology had 3 conventional modes of admissions during my entrance period into the institution, 1. KCET (Common Entrance Test) 2. COMEDK. 3. Management. The typical cutoffs for KCET were pretty lenient as students with really high rankings as far as 65000 were admitted into my course (CSE) especially with the number of rounds that were available.
