Placements and Internships
IITM is good when it comes to training and placement as they have the separate departments of it, known as TAP-CELL, they provide training courses from the different organizations like I have done my non-technical training from 'Illuminating Mind' and technical from CETPA INFOTECH. When it comes to placement it is best for computer science, IT, or electronics and communication and good for different branches as when I was in four-year. Wipro, infosys, ibm, capgemini, mindtree are the big companies came for recuitment along with some start-ups. The highest salary package was INR 3.6 lakhs per annum and almost 90% of my batch mate got placed on the campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I gave Pre-engineering test [MP PET] organized by Vyapam, in which I scored 101 and ranked 6034 and the cut-off for my course is 6000 and above. So I got selected for electronics and communication branch. Apart from the competitive exam, they also provide college level counseling where students can get admission based upon their 12th class marks.
