Placements and Internships

The college placement cell provides you with many opportunities starting from 1st year to the placement offers in the final year. The College provides courses for arts and commerce and mainly placement offers are for B.com honors, B.Com program, economic honors and English honors. The company of the commerce i.e. PWC, KPMG, Ernst and Young and Delloite visits the campus for the placement. While in short and other companies come for winter session for other placements. The average package offered is INR 3.0 lakh while the highest is INR 6 lakh offered by the company last year. The percentage varies but the mass recruitment is in commerce with Ernst and Young leading around 25%. The Alumni of Dcac are in many fields like AIB comedian Gursimran Khamba or Rahul Kanwal in India today group.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

The hostel is provided by the college. Only PG options are available to the outside students and it costs around INR 10-15000 per month as the college is located in south delhi. There is a canteen in the college and the price is very cheap as compared to other options. It costs around INR 50 per meal. There are updated e-library with WiFi and gym, sports is also provided.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The criteria for getting admission in the Bcom honors course is the cutoff. There is no entrance exam for this course but one has to pass mathematics in 12th class for B.com honors while the course doesn't require to study mathematics. I got 95% marks in class 12th CBSE board and secured the admission. To get into any DU college for this course minimum cut off for the general is around 90%.

Academics and Faculty

The class starts at 8:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm. There is a good quality of education offered as the teachers are highly qualified. The college has the best faculty and it makes the experience best.

Fees and Scholarships

The fees is INR 8500( approximately) which doesn't include the examination fees. The college is state funded and there is an exam to get scholarship offers. Loans are not needed since the fees is very economical as compared to other institutions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission criteria are the same in all the colleges under Delhi University. Students have to fill a form in Delhi university site and have to pay a fee of Rs 120 approx. After that student is eligible to get admission in Delhi University. On the same date every year June 19 first off is out. For ex-first cutoff of DCAC for BCom Hons (general) is 97%. Students who got more than or equal to 97% are eligible to apply for admission under BCom Hons in DCAC. After first cutoff students have two days to apply in their eligible college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The cut-off for B.Com Honours is always between 94-95.5%. The admission procedure was very simple.
