Sahana Parveen's Review on Institute of Technical Education and Research

The placement of ITER is going down a bit especially in 2017. Key companies include DELOITTE, TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS and the highest salary goes up to INR 7 lakhs p.a.

There are 6 hostels each for boys and girls. The fee is around INR 40000 and you can also find accommodations near college campus as there are many PG's. I can't promise you of good food in the hostel but the rooms are good and well maintained and have 24hrs security. The college campus has a huge library but, labs are not that good but manageable.

To get into ITER first there is an assessment test called SAAT. You have to get a good score to get a branch of your choice. Female candidates have a plus point because there is female quota during the counselling time. 

The is really good compared to other colleges in Bhubaneswar. Class timings change every year and every semester you have to do a project.

The course fee was INR 175000 lakh per year for my batch but, it increases every year. I don't think there is any scholarship given in ITER and you can apply for study loans from SBI. The fee is comparatively less from other renowned engineering colleges and the teaching is also better.

In the first semester, you will get to join many clubs which include drama, dance, music, social service. The clubs are very active which would make your time enjoyable. There is one fest- Genesis held every year. The college life is very chilled out with some serious studying.
