I have done an internship at BHEL JHANSI. Key companies who come in for the campus drive are Delloite, Wipro, Maruti, Tata, Infosys, L&T. The average salary is INR 4 Lakhs, highest salary is INR 8 Lakhs, 60% of the batch gets placed. Alumni network is quite good, alumni meet is held every year, different clubs of this college gets its inspiration from the alumni.
10 hostels are there, the new hostels are well maintained,hostel fee is INR 24000 per year. PGs are available outside the college and they are far better than the hostels, their per month cost is INR 2000-INR 2500
The aspirants must have completed intermediate/diploma for this course, the admission is done through JEE and OJEE ranks. I have given JEE MAINS exam and got selected for the JEE Mains rank. There are no cutoffs for this course, admission totally depends on ranks
The Class is from 8 am to 5 pm and assignments are given every day, and also checked in the next class projects are not mandatory till the 3rd year but in 4th year students are given major projects, the exam is held as per given in the academic calendar, there's no delay in Exams. The quality of teaching is average, those who are interested in learning can easily catch what is being taught in class.
The course fee is INR 45000 per year. There's no scholarship available from the college. No loans are needed.
There are many clubs like robotics, SAE, idea and innovation, drama, music and dance club, coding club, yoga and all types of sports club. Societies like literary society etc. are present in the college main festivals are samavesh(tech),vassaunt(cultural),illumina(sports). I am enjoying my life here, there is no pressure on any student and these clubs keep us involved.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student should appear the JEE MAIN entrance to get a chance to be in the counselling and he will get a seat according to his/her rank at the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology. To get selected in a Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology he must have secured at least 75% in Physics, chemistry, or math or he must be in the top 20 percentile of his respective boards. The cut off for my course is likely to be 100000 for a general.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission into VSSUT(Acronym commonly used for our college), in an undergraduate course you need to appear the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) known has JEE MAIN conducted by CBSE. You also need to have obtained more than the pass marks designated by your respective boards. There is a 60-40 weight given to them. Admission is on basis of all India rank. To get admission in VSSUT you need to be a resident of Odisha. For further details please contact ojee.nic.in. Based on ranking and the choices of a branch you have filled you will be allotted a course at a particular institute, there is also a chance of up gradation. You have to report to allotted institute for admission with admission fee. Cutoffs for electrical engineering in VSSUT starts at around 25000 UpTo 80000 all India rank.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I joined Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology,Burla,Sambalpur in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Course through Odisha JEE exam.My state rank was 4109(General).But I had my interest in Electrical Engineering.So,I studied hard and secured 9.29 CGPA and got my branch changed to Electrical Engineering.
