Entrance Exams and Admissions
- 65% of admission at SSBTCET is done by Central Allotment Process (CAP) of Government of Maharashtra through CET MAIN 2016-17.
- 15%admission by Central Allotment Process (CAP) of Government ofMaharashtra through JEE/CET MAIN 2016-17 for MS/OMS candidate.
- 20% admission for institute level quota.
- Candidate should have passed HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects like English, Physics, Mathematics as a compulsary one and optional subjects are Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology & Technical Vocational.
- For Biotechnology course, Biology is essential.
- For Maharashtra State seats through CAP, a ranking in JEE MAIN as declared by the government is essential.
- Institution level quota seats are filled up by during counseling based on merit .
- Lateral Entry candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Hello. I am Snehita Dey. I was shortlisted for this college through MAH CET entrance examination conducted by the state itself. I had to go for electrical engineering so during caps round I entered this college's name for the branch electrical. As such, there were no typical cutoff marks. But, according to state ranking, the seat allotments were made in the college. It was also seen that the seat allotments would be possible if the seats are not filled for the particular branch you want to opt for. So luckily seats were available on the branch I wanted so I was allotted a seat in electrical branch at SSBTCET.
